(Digital) Architecture and Framework enable the magical Experience.

Angela Glajcar, “Traumfänger” (Dream Catcher) at Landesgalerien Niederösterreich.

When I visited the exhibition of Angela Glajcar – and I went there several times – I was touched by magic. The artist transforms paper and glass fabric into a walkable installation. The light and room play with the monochrome non-color materials. It allows to enter a multidimensional space which allows an uplifted, light, playful and “solid ground” experience at the same time.

Walking through the exhibition, it felt for me first like pure creativity has been the driver. A non-conformistic approach, driven be coincidences along the development process, could be the basis to create such a grand installation in size, statement and artistic excellence. I had the chance to attend the interview with the Artist at the opening where I learnt how the Artist Angela Glajcar develops this magic.

It is different than what I was thinking: this uplifting experience follows a solid groundwork.

On her webpage, I found this article which describes how Angela Glajcar follows the process of elaborating her artwork. It starts with the material, its properties to understand possible transformations. The preparation then is simulated with 3D programs. Although, when physically producing the artwork, she might takes local conditions (light, shadows, …) into consideration, but she “sticks to the plan”.

“The digital act of conceptualization runs contrary in a way to the “primitive” act of tearing. The distanced stance Glajcar takes when planning and creating the piece at the computer, relying on complex programs in the process, flips into its opposite as soon as she gets handson and tears into the sheets of paper – or tears them up.” Terforations, Margareta Sandhofer*

The entrepreneurial transfer: Architecture and framework enables the Magic in the entire Ecosystem.

Experience is still the marketing BINGO buzzword. We see ourselves forced to deliver a unique experience which has to stand out in the market. We want to bind our customers, attract prospects and even more importantly today: also attract and keep employees.

A moving experience is based on a multidimensional event. How to create such experiences for the ecosystems? As the artwork of Angela Glajcar proofs, it needs a solid plan and mostly: We have to come from a sequential process to a holistic, multidimensional creation of the entire system. The model-based approach allows this 360° view development. It passes sequential, 2-axis thinking and enters the multi-dimensional creation space, allowing the sustainable architecture of entrapreneurial initiatives.

Shape your entrepreneurial vision while becoming an architect. Stick to the once formed framework while implementing with agility.
