Here is the Novel.
“ThreatGet - Cyber Security by Design” is a research result of AIT Austrian Institute of Technology. It uses the methodology of Threat Modelling for system development, but it combines it with its own research. Current cyber threats are mirrored in two separate threat catalogues, for the highly regulated environments automotive and industry. In addition, the use of Artificial Intelligence allows a path analysis for potential threats in system design.
The methodology offers a unique approach to detecting potential cyber threats during the design process of systems instead at the end of it. It is therefore money and time-saving.
ThreatGet has a huge leverage potential when it comes to the point to bring this methodology to market. It is predestinated to be offered through an indirect sales channel and as a consequence a stand-out partner offering.
The go-to-market for this indirect sales approach meant also to communicate not only the methodology as such but also how it supports the offering of a cyber security consultancy involved in the system development processes of their customers. How to make the threat modelling approach - even with the Novel of the Cyber Threat Catalogue by AIT- understandable? How to find partners in this demanding industry who are ready to adapt and implement this methodology into their current offering?
The success of ThreatGet as a methodology and its clear positioning as a partner program for cyber security consultants led to the Constantinus Award in 2021, awarded by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
For me, this project is the foundation of my “CMC Certified Management Consulting” certification as my contribution has been acknowledged as best-in-practice for consultancy.
